Today I would like to touch upon latest trends in manicure for two cold seasons of 2017 - Autumn and Winter. And as it is long overdue (for which my apologies), let me get straight to the point :)
Naturally, both autumn and winter color palettes tend to be more toned colors or darker colors, but they're far away from being plain and boring. This year it's all about the bling!! In fact, the more chick your nails - the more patterns, colorful stones, frosty glitter - the better!. But there is definitely a formula to that madness. Geometric shapes seem to be taking the lead in our manicure patterns, so we've got lots of lines, triangles, ovals, skillfully distinguished with an addition of little sparkly zircons, "broken glass" pieces and confetti-like glitter pieces. More often than not, we can see "lace" finished nails, bringing to mind femininity at it's very best, sexy version. We also have all year classics, like marble nails, still seemingly taking the lead as a manicure favorite, but even marble evolved into more playful, colorful look with it's "sink in glitter marble" imitation.
As to colors, that are definitely taking the lead, we have brown and grey pastels, rusty reds, oranges, deep greens and browns, all shades of purple, and lots and lots of gold for Autumn. Winter, on the other hand, will incorporate, aside of colors mentioned above, white, silver and sky blue shades. Both seasons will definitely see a lot of deep blacks and navy blues, combined with previously mentioned gold.
To sum it up - it is a combination of stylishly finished lines and circles filled with lots of shiny stones and glitter. It is all very well thought of, classy but at the same time full of fun, creative energy.
So, even though we will have to, probably soon, take those gloves and mittens out of our closets, we mustn't forget about our nails looking fabulous for the remainder of the year.
